Misha Calvert
Misha (she/her) is Vermilion’s head teacher, coach, and mentor. As an award-winning writer, director, and showrunner, she’s sold multiple series to networks and is in pre-production for her first feature shooting in 2023, as well as a comedy-thriller starring Raye and Sawyer Spielberg. Her work centers women, the queer community, and underrepresented protagonists. As an actor, Misha was a series regular on the Emmy Award-winning show A CRIME TO REMEMBER and has played lead roles Off-Broadway in multiple productions. Her approach to filmmaking elevates character and actor above all else. She cherishes artists and the important work they do in the world.

Coco Jourdana
Coco (she/her) is Vermilion’s incredible headshot photographer. Your days of headshot trauma are over! She was born and raised in France and is obsessed with photography. Coco started offering headshots when she saw how much people overcharge. With years of experience as both an actor and photographer, she creates a supportive and joyful environment for your shoot with beautiful, industry-standard results. All Vermilion mentorship clients receive a discount with Coco during your coaching period.

WEBSITE DESIGNER
Laura García Rodríguez
Laura (she/her) is a graphic, motion, UX/UI designer and an expert in all things web design. Hiring her is a literal game-changer for your online presence. She has work in advertising, branding, print design, motion graphics, web design, social media design, and UX/UI on accounts such as Versace, YSL, M·A·C Cosmetics, Art Basel, and Clinique, among others. Laura has an MS in Communications Design from Pratt Institute and is based in New York. Her design rates start at $500 for posters and $1400 for websites and include individualized feedback from Misha on brand, design, and how to make your site industry standard.

SCRIPT COVERAGE
Taylor Coriell
Taylor (she/her) is our resident script reader and offers coverage for TV and film screenplays. You receive a one-hour recorded Zoom consultation along with a one-page summary of her notes. Whether you are on a first draft or fifteenth, Taylor helps you refine your voice and story while also being compassionate to your process. She’s a script reader for Coverfly and a frequent finalist at places like Script Pipeline and Sundance. Hailing from Kentucky, Taylor writes ladycentric dramedies with heart that explore themes of friends-as-family & “success” through a female lens. Also, Barack Obama follows her on Twitter (really)!

Mariah Moss
Mariah (she/her) is a NY-based actor, writer, and filmmaker. A recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Mariah is passionate about feminist film theory and both environmental and human rights activism, which she hopes to reflect in her work as a multi-hyphenate artist. She is the co-founder and creative producer for the independent production company What If, What Now Productions.
